Kellock

Kellock is a very fertile Kingdom, agricultural and more conservative. Originally Asper Bayen was part of the Kingdom, but it became rich from trade with the Ostogians and powerful enough to become independent several hundred years ago. Ekkel found itself in a central trade position with Asparia, Liikar/Roekel, and Sven/Gokkel. When the Lotharian Kingdom and later the Goblin Kings conquered the Gahl'ruk, many humans fled north to Kellock. They were able to muster an alliance of humans to stay independent, but never enough to defeat their enemies. When the Remlian Empire defeated the Goblin Kingdom they also sought to assimilate the Kellock's. After hundreds o years of independence and fighting the Goblin/Orcs, the Kellocks saw no need to subjugate themselves to an Empire., and have remained fiercely independent to this day. The collapse of the Empire only reinforced their view.
