Roekel and Gokkel

Roekel and Gokkel are the 2 northern most states in Alemoon. Gokkel was founded by the northern most tribes of of the Farhgyl based on a pass to the Eastern Lands. A bitter dispute between 2 brothers led Roh'ek to find another pass farther north. He allied himself with the Ostogians and the Hoekens to compete with his brother Goeen'kal. For hundreds of years the kingdoms have competed eocnomically and militarily. it's cold, harsh and they take it personally.
